Overview
CAKE is a performance marketing platform used by affiliate networks and brands. AffZero connects to CAKE using the Affiliate API, which allows pulling stats for campaigns and daily summaries.What You Need
- Your CAKE network domain (the subdomain specific to your CAKE instance)
- A CAKE Affiliate API key
Where to Find Your CAKE API Key
The Affiliate API key is found in the CAKE Affiliate Portal:- Log in to your CAKE affiliate portal (e.g.
https://yournetwork.cakemarketing.com/affiliate/login) - Click on your name or account settings in the top-right corner
- Navigate to API Keys or Account Settings → API
- Copy the Affiliate API Key shown on this page
What to Enter in AffZero

You may be using the Admin API key instead of the Affiliate API key. Log into the CAKE Affiliate Portal (not the Admin Portal) and copy the key from there.
Domain not recognized
Domain not recognized
Make sure you’re entering only the subdomain — e.g.
yournetwork — not the full URL. The field should not include https:// or .cakemarketing.com.No data returned
No data returned
CAKE’s Affiliate API only returns data for the affiliate account associated with your API key. If the account has no activity in the selected date range, results will be empty. Verify the date range in CAKE’s own reporting first.
